Welcome to Gaitor

Why we built a running coach that lives inside a ten-second video, not a pair of headphones.

A green hillside with the word "Welcome" set in italic serif type.

Gaitor turns a ten-second running video into a biomechanics report card. No wearables, no studio, no ten-step setup. Film yourself running side-on, send it through, and get back the kind of notes a good coach would scribble at the edge of a track.

What you can do today

The app is in TestFlight. Your first reading is free, with six metrics and one fix worth trying on your next run. The Plan, our paid layer, turns each reading into a personalised week of training.

Form is the bit you can change. Mileage you’ll figure out. Pace will come. But the way your foot lands? That’s a craft.

We will keep adding metrics, drills and explainers. Bookmark this blog — that’s where they’ll appear first.

What’s next on the blog

  • Walkthroughs of every metric we measure, with side-by-side video.
  • Field reports from runners who’ve used the app for eight weeks.
  • Deeply nerdy posts about MediaPipe, signal processing, and why portrait videos lie about your stride length.

If you want to get in touch, our address is in the footer. We answer.
